Light Harmony
Chordless Phone
This is all about stumbling onto uncharted territory. The places just outside the places one marks on a map. The suspense of going somewhere that wasn't plotted, yet the beauty and power one feels when they believe said place is a sight to behold.
Light Harmony Lessons
After an amazing reception of the first album. Light Harmony is back to teach those the tough lessons life has to offer. While the album's main songs are available on Newgrounds. This album features instrumentals and works of art to add to the lore.
Swear Jar
I decided to do something different, initially this was meant to be a single, but I had an interesting idea to do some comedy. See what meshes and what doesn't.
Haunter Becomes The Haunted
Ghosts and Demons haunt houses, that is basically their job. Whether it's to scare people away, steal their souls, make them suffer or kill them. But what happens if someone gets tormented one too many times? They fight back. This is a horror themed action Mini-Album. Influenced by the likes of John Carpenter.
The Long Walk To Destiny
After getting over 100 fans on Newgrounds, I thought I'd mark the
occasion with a song. This song reflects my journey, both in my personal
life and my professional life. Journeys often always start with that
long walk. You never know where it takes you. Some parts scary. Other
parts a sight to behold. Some parts seen as clear as day. Others
confusing at first. But in the end, when you reach your destination as
well as your destiny, it's worth it in the end. I believe in the most
unlikely things as signs that my destiny is apart of these moments. The
fact that as long as it took, my work and my involvement in the site as a
whole, was good enough that over 100 people and more are willing to
know about it, is a huge sign.
Thank you to my 100 fans and thank you to any fans over in the future
who want to view this work along with others past, present and future.
Prowlers At Night
You're walking down the street in a small town. It's dark, cold and the moon is full. Yet you get the slightest feeling that you are being watched. By what? Who knows? Whoever or whatever it is, it's dangerous and after you. You have no weapons. The cops are no where to be seen and any neighbours you could ask for help think you're pranking them. The way you see it, you have two choices. Stay there and die or run like Hell.
Swear Jar 2: The Darkside of Comedy
After the reception on Newgrounds regarding my last comedic album, I decided to make a sequel. Only this one focuses more on Dark Comedy so I can coincide it with the upcoming Halloween Holidays. With the exception of the opening Stand Up routine, which is designed to warm people up, each one of my skits here is some of the darkest comedy I've ever put out. Some of which may cross so many lines that many would be offended. You've been warned.
Open The Door
I thought for a change in pace I'd do an interactive horror skit. The idea being that the listener is a character in the story.
In this case, you're at home at night. Someone comes to your door
claiming to look for a missing cat. However you've heard about people
going missing in your neighbourhood. Do you let this person in? They're
not what they seem.
They're Coming!
You're in a small town. Not too far from an observatory. You decide to check things out and you're in good with the head professor. You look at the telescope and see something. Whatever it is, it's big enough to eclipse Saturn. You can't tell if it's a UFO, Meteor or worse some ancient being. However whatever it is. There are 5 of them coming and heading towards earth. Not a single one is friendly.
Appraoching A Haunted House
You're driving down the woods. You think the worst is over after going through the cold, dark, tree filled forest. Suddenly your headlights see something in the clearing. A large, old grey house. Surely there's no harm in driving towards it. Yet the closer you get, the more you have this strange feeling whatever's in there is watching and waiting for you.
You Are Being Watched
You try to have a good day. Just going on a pleasant stroll, yet you
have this nagging feeling. Something that's been bothering you since you
woke up and got out. You can't quite put your finger on it. You thought
you were alone.
That's when it hits you. Someone....or something is watching you.
Digging Up an Unknown Entity
Partially inspired by Mountains of Madness and Colour Out Of Space, I decided to do a very tense song here:
You're in your backyard, just digging a hole for a garden you wanted to
make, when suddenly a strange viscous liquid comes from the ground where
you strike your first shovel dig in. With a colour that is like no
colour you ever seen before. Curious, you begin to dig further, each
section of the song representing how deep into the ground you've dug in.
Whatever you see underneath is strange, beautiful, yet in the back of
your mind an unknown terror that awaits down below. Yet despite your
fear you can't stop digging.
Aftermath of A Massacre
You're the survivor of a horrific massacre. No different than the kind
you see in horror movies. You make your way home, to a hospital or to a
police station to deal with the trauma you faced. Whether it's seeing
your friends and loved ones die, or the guilt complex you feel when you
catch and give the killer a taste of their own medicine, you find
yourself wondering how you can live with what happens. There are some
tinges of hope, but you'll forever be changed and shaped by the massacre
you survived.
This song is dedicated to all the sole survivors in horror movies. From Laurie Strode to Chris Washington.
Homicide Detective In Deep Thought
You're a Homicide detective and you've been handed the worst case of murder you've ever seen. This song portrays the thoughts and feelings of said dectective as you piece together all the evidence you have so far before you figure out not only who the killer is, but where they'll strike next.
Trick Or Treat of Death
You're a kid out Trick or Treating. While you hope for a safe fun night of candy and scares, however there is an ever lingering danger that surrounds the holiday. Could it be creeps putting razors in your treats? Could it be some stalker out to get you. Or could there really be a monster out there waiting to jump you and your friends at a moments notice. You'll never know until it's too late.
Looking For Answers
You work at an antique shop. Business is good for the most part, but then some mysterious stranger shows up and hands you a strange key. He says nothing other than "FInd the right lock." Before you question him further, he was already gone. As if he was never then. As a result, you get this itch, to find out more. Where does this key go? What is the right lock?
Light Harmony: Off Days
After some procasination, I decided to bring my fictional band back. Not
for motivation. Not for life lessons. But just to see if they could do
music on almost anything. Now when I did Light Harmony, I made them and
S.T. Musicians grounded superheroes with little to no powers. So it's up
to you if you consider this canon to their story or just a song they
made. However for those that accept that it is canon, this story takes
place before this album was released.
The first album was about motivation and spiritual therapy.
The second album was about life lessons.
Here, it's all about what Light Harmony and their leader S.T. Musician
do on their off days. Whether it's occasionally hanging out and having
fun or travelling into worlds unknown. We hope you enjoy the album as
much as you enjoy the others.
In this album on top of the songs are the instrumentals, plus a copy of
the concept art for CIEIR Music HQ's first interior designs.
An Experiment in Tuning
Welcome to my latest experiment. In this I take a simple tune I made and play it through different frequencies. In this case the classic 440, the much debated 432 and the Solfeggio frequencies known to stimulate chakras. The latter of which I did for kicks. Enjoy.
Throw it in Reverse
In this latest Album I thought I'd experiment in Reverse Music. By making 3 songs, then putting the same three songs in reverse. I am curious to what you all think and I hope you enjoy them either way.
CIEIR Christmas Special
Initially I was gonna do another album of carols. However, the creative
bug bit me once again and instead rather than make my own spin on the
same old songs, I'd maybe make my own Christmas Themed Music. 5 Songs.
Plus a bonus instrumental. Happy Holidays from CIEIR Music.
Also, the album cover was hand painted by me.
One Hell of A Winter
In it are many songs depicting both the good and bad of Winter. From every day life on Earth to the fire depths of Hell itself. Featuring Light Harmony.
Much like my Christmas Special I decided to do an album based on a canvas painting I made which can be seen here:
www.newgrounds.com/art/view/cieirmusic/the-eye-of-experience
In this case, the Eye Is A Powerful Artifact, which is believed to be
one of God's many discarded eyes. Among most powers, those who look into
it, will be subject to billions of years worth of experiences good and
bad. This album shows the Eye's journey from it's discovery to the
adventures of a professional thief who's quest for profit jumpstarts an
adventure of literal biblical proportions.
This was inspired by among most things, the painting, Indiana Jones, Hellraiser and the Dan Brown series.
Also as a bonus: With this album, not only will you get the entire
ensemble, but two for the price of one. Orchestral versions of the songs
I've made.
The Road of Wonders
Based off my Canvas painting as seen here:
www.newgrounds.com/art/view/cieirmusic/the-road-of-wonders
Available in both Synth and Orchestral.
Conflict on Main Street
For as long as I can remember doing music, I always wanted to do an 80s
style track, but could never get the percussion right until now. I
present to you, Conflict On Mainstreet.
An interactive album that puts you in the perspective of the main
character, in a gritty 1985 New York City, during a huge rise in gang
activity. How you fare? Let's find out.
Death's Weeping Rose
Based on this canvas painting I made:
www.newgrounds.com/art/view/cieirmusic/death-s-weeping-rose
I decided to make a mini-album comprised of a Gothic Rock Song. One with and one without lyrics.
Those who purchase this album will get a digital copy of my Canvas Painting for free.
The Beautiful Face of Duality and Deception
Since I did a Gothic Rock Song on "Death's Weeping Rose." I thought I'd
do a Gothic Synth song for this one. In this case a short "Choose your
own adventure" mini-album.
Like the others based off my canvases, purchasing this album will grant you a free digital copy of the original work.
An Experiment in Tuning Mk. 2: Chakra Stimulation
Warning: Anyone who has sensitive ears or other ailments may be at risk,
if not, listen at your own discretion and do not operate heavy
machinery while listening.
For those just tuning in this is a follow up to my last series of songs the first being here:
shanethemusician.bandcamp.com/album/an-experiment-in-tuning
In which I tried to see if the same song would not only differ due to
tuning, but also invoke Solfeggio tones, specifically catered to the 7
Chakras. Intitially I was gonna do a song each with these like before,
but I scrapped the project, because I feared I was repeating myself on
that one too much. So I went a different direction. I felt like I've
been going about this all wrong, that rather than try to tune an entire
song to different frequencies, why not make all frequencies present one
note at a time. So using my Musescore to make the midi for each, I made a
short length note hold for each note corresponding to the respective
Chakra. C for Root, D for Sacral and so on. Making a crude scale of
sorts. I would then use audacity to tune each note to the respective
sollfeggio frequency and then to properly tune it, I'd tune each note to
432hz as inspired by djstevefrancis.bandcamp.com. The result is probably the weirdest thing I ever composed. Not quite good, not quite bad, just....well strange. But let me know what you think.
In this album includes the main song, as well as the song split into
it's respective solfeggio notes, that way you can choose to either
listen to one or two or listen to all of them.
The Uneasy Path
Have I got a treat for you. A Synth Rock Combo that personifies how uneasy taking the right path is, yet how worth it, it can be. Be prepared for thrills and spills as you take the role of the protagonist in this interactive wordless album story.
Open The Door Complete
The complete series. Open The Door is an interactive Lovecraftian story that puts you in the role of the protagonist, who meets a mysterious stranger whom has an obsessive interest in you, yet cannot get to you unless you invite him in.
Lovecraft Noir
What started out as a deadpan dark comedy sketch blossomed into a cosmic horror story of the modern age. The story revolves around three central characters. A detective who's attempt at a one night stand caused him to bite off more than he can choose, A Lovecraftian Monster the likes of which never seen before and you. That's right. You yourself are in this story as the silent victim caught in the middle of it all. How? Find out in this.
The Lonely Love Spider
Once again I've made an album based on my art. In this case, The Lonely
Love Spider. The polar opposite of the Black Widow. Where the Black
Widow has an hourglass on it's abdomen, the Lonely Love Spider has a
heart. Where the the Black Widow mates and devours her prey, the Lonely
Love Spider looks for long term commitment and love. The result of which
is difficult because potential mates flee after mating, mistaking her
for the Black Widow.
Since this is a fictional concept, I made it also supernatural allowing
among most things the ability to shapeshift to increase her odds of
getting a mate.
However this particular album details a story of a certain member of the
species, one who by chance gets captured by a curious bug collector,
whom is curious to learn about her. Only to find he got more than he
bargained for.
Much like the other ones based on my art, you have a free copy of the painting with this album.
The Island of The Severed Hand
Once again I've made an album out of a painting. One of which is a happy
accident. In my attempt at combining my gothic art style with my
psychedelic style, I've inadvertantly made an island in the shape of a
severed hand. Taking inspiration from movies like King Kong, I decided
to make this island a mash up of supernatural, nature and science
fiction. In this album you play a person stranded on the worst part of
the island and in order to go home you must cross the fingers as it's
the only clear pathway. Each one with different dangers.
Like before, this album comes with a free digital copy of the painting that inspired it.
